Question GPUs' drivers cause random black screen of death?

Question HP Envy 15 Laptop Shutting down just after boot Question Toshiba satellite cl10-b-100 keeps randomly shutting down Question Dell Inspiron 7577 randomly shutting down Question Surface 3 randomly acts like I am holding down one of th Windows keys Thanks for Your answer, and looking into my topic! I am more than desperate to find a solution to this VERY annoying problem, because playing with headphones on my head is just not an option for me.Īnyway, one more thing - If i open WoW, and just minimize it down to taskbar (and my option in "SOUND/SOUND IN BACKGROUND" is selected), i am not losing the sound, but almost same moment when i maximize the game, 1 - 5 minutes and sound is off again. When this "disappearing" occur, i just need to plug-in my headphones or my mic and a sound just pop-up like it have never been lost, and after 1 minute i am losing it again.Īnd losing sound is very randomly - It can take up to 2 hours, 'till 1 minute to disappear. Very important thing that pushed me to open a topic here is that my sound work perfectly until i open WoW, and i have a sound through headphones jack. I already mentioned that i have reinstalled my Windows and downloaded all the drivers from the official, manufacturer page (which i used before) - No solution. Overheating of the CPU or the mainboard is not possible, because my laptop is in a mint condition 24/7. Selecting/Deselecting "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device", and "Give exclusive mode applications priority",ĭisabling Microphone, HDMI, and Stereo Mix devices, Removed CONFIG.WTF and reopened the game with a fresh, untouched settings (everything on default),Ĭhanging my sound settings in Windows (tried all the settings from 16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality) - 24 bit, 192000 Hz (Studio Quality)), Sorry if i trouble, but still there is no solution to my problem that i have. If someone had this problem, or similar one before, and is willing to help, PLEASE help me because i am helpless. I doubt that there is some problem with chip itself, because everything is working just fine until i open WoW. Honestly, i never have problems with my computer because i am System Administrator myself and i am familiar with them very good, but this problem is out of my reach because i can't figure out what is causing this problem. I already tried to install 100 different drivers for my sound card (Conexant SmartAudio HD) on my laptop (MEDION AKOYA E6221 (MD 97753)), and i reinstalled Windows too - nothing helps.

I would like to point on my problem that i got recently - everytime when i open WoW, and play for about 1 - 5 minutes, i am losing my sound in WoW and in Windows too.
